They have the best sushi of that area. Fresh fish! Umm! Delicious!
Had the sushi combo B. The prices are ok relative to the quality. Quite fresh. The nigiri sushi pieces were large and thick. Almost can be made into 2 or 3 pieces each if you compare to a regular sushi restaurant. The dynamite roll was pretty good as well. Just like each piece of sushi, the roll was big. Worth a try.
Great, intimate restaurant. Quality of food is very good. Lovely place for quiet dinner with friends.
This is my favourite sushi in the city. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Their eel is my favourite. If you have never had it or are iffy, I highly suggest it. Every person I bring to this place falls in love with it. Small, and can get busy, so book a reservation if possible. They also have bring your own wine with a corking fee. Great way to have a drink at a cheaper price. 10/10 would recommend.
Authentic Japanese restaurant with melt in your mouth sashimi and sushi. Have not been to the new location, but heard it's still good.
One of my favorite sushi places in Toronto. Great balance between quality, freshness, and price (i.e. perfectly respectable quality at a reasonable price). Also allows the fish to shine without trying to bury it under a pile of sauces, as a lot of cheaper places do these days. Service is consistently friendly. It's a rather small restaurant so best for small groups.
I been here at the other location wad fantastic. Came again once they reopen to the new location... Its still as good as i remember!
Stumble upon this little sushi place and was not disappointed! Seems to be run by a Japanese family and its a small spot, but their sushi quality is very good. You can really tell their sashimi is of good quality, the salmon melts in your mouth, and for the price point, its definitely a great deal. Service was great too.
Love going to ND for a no frills sushi experience. The place is always clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, and the sushi is well priced and fresh.
You get what you pay for. Good quality food and good service.Needs Air conditioning though...
Quality was super good and price is not expensive at all! Wish they had better wasabi, and sashimi was too thick for me but if you love thick sashimi i highly recommend this place! And also uni was super fresh!!!
Great fresh food here! Didn't expect to be served so fast either. They have a small but tasty selection of sushi and they maintain a traditional atmosphere as well. 10/10 would go again
I don't like sushi but this place has a good quality sushi
I liked their Baldwin location better, but it's still pretty good.
My go to sushi place! Best quality I have been able to find downtown without having to pay an exorbitant amount, and very good selection. Staff are always very nice and I have never had an issue getting a table either!
Whenever I try another sushi restaurant, I am always left wondering why I didn’t go to ND Sushi instead. The quality and service are excellent. The lunch special specifically has the best value for me. The sushi special includes palm-sized slices of thick cut fish (including types you don’t commonly see in other places such as squid, mackerel, wild salmon), with a large mixed kale/lettuce salad and miso soup.
The lunch special here is a pretty good deal - you can get a nice selection of maki/nigiri + soup and salad for $16. The food is quality and tasty, service was friendly and we felt very cozy.
Definitely one of the best sushi place with affordable prices! The sushi quality there is top notch, and they have lunch specials!!! How wonderful~~~ (why is it so hard to find affordable sushi in Toronto...?!)
Surprinsing little gem! I was not expecting to have such great sushis in such a small and tiny restaurant. Fish is fresh and tasty for an affordable price! I had one of the best Nigiris in Toronto! Careful as the place is very small, you might need to wait but it's worth it.
Nice sushi. Worth the price. If you ar looking at cheap all you can eat type sushi, this is not the place. The place is somewhat expensive (but not extremely expensive like high level sushi omakase restaurant), but worth to visit.
Freshest fish and such reasonable prices too. The service is not fast but it’s a great spot when you have a bit of time. Cute atmosphere and very friendly service.
Sushi and salad was very good. Classical music in the background always nice. Spicy rainbow roll is apparently the most popular. Bathroom at the bottom of some stairs, for those of you who have trouble with that.
